$150.00
sold out

Whether you use this as a cutting board or a charcuterie board, this beautiful one-of-a-kind quilt work board will double as a piece of artwork in your kitchen. When cared for correctly, this piece will last for decades to come. This makes a great gift for Christmas, a house warming, weddings or anniversaries, or Mothers/Fathers Day.

Constructed from 100% hard woods, this quilt work board is glued together with the "ends" of the board pieces facing up for a butcher block that has self-healing characteristics.

Why end grain?
-Harder than edge grain
-Easier on your knives long term; a strong cutting surface without dulling your knife.

Product details:
-Made with an assortment of hardwoods including walnut, wenge, cherry, oak, padauk, and maple.
-Truly a one-of-a-kind board
-Comes with adjustable feet to ensure a wobble-free cutting board
-Indented handles on the sides
-Engraved juice groove on top surface
-JTC brand on the bottom of the board
-HEAVY: a whopping 6 lbs 12 oz
-Ready to use! Each board arrives in a fully seasoned state, with the first coat of mineral oil previously applied. Our special blend of oil is food safe as well as odorless, colorless, and tasteless. After your board arrives, add your preferred oil or creams to continue to season the board. A full care and maintenance guide is included with each board purchase.
-Hand crafted in the USA; each board that we make is cut and glued in our wood shop in Texas. We are proud to produce beautiful and sturdy products that will last you for years to come.

Product dimensions:
17 ¾ x 11 ¾ x 1 ⅜ thick

Benefits of wood cutting boards:
-Antimicrobial
-Healthier than plastic; no more micro-plastics in your home cooked meals
-Beauty; a piece of artwork for your kitchen

Care instructions:
***DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER***
-Hand wash only: do not submerge or let soak in water. Instead, wash with warm, soapy rag, rinse clean, and prop up to let air dry completely.
-Condition as needed with food-grade mineral oil or other oil of choice. Using your hands or a lint-free microfiber cloth, apply a thin layer of the oil to all surfaces of your board. Set board on its side, and let the wood absorb oil for at least 3 hours. Wipe up any excess oil remaining with lint-free cloth.
-For extra care, you can use a food-grade board cream to seal the wood. This creates an extra barrier; liquid should just pool on top instead of soaking in. Be sure the board cream you purchase is made with food-grade mineral oil.
